Boris (JP)

Influenced greatly by Seattle's sludge metal scene, Boris formed in Tokyo in 1992, taking their name from the eponymous Melvins song. Since then, willfully eclectic, Boris has amassed a sizable discography with nearly thirty studio albums and dozens of EPs. In 2005, Boris released the album Pink, which amalgamated all their previous styles, providing a diverse and expansive and widely acclaimed listening experience.
